PA House Judiciary Committee does NRA's bidding by approving HB671

Despite Rep. Madeleine Dean (District 153) deftly exposing HB671 as a gift to the gun lobby, members of the PA house Judiciary committee voted overwhelmingly Wednesday (April 19, 2017) to approve this bill in committee. If approved, HB671 would reduce local control of fire arms protections, and enable organizations such as the NRA to sue any PA municipality that tries to enact common sense provisions designed further protect it's citizens from gun violence. A number of local citizen activists quietly registered their disapproval as another step was taken to reduce public safety in PA.
