PA Education Committee approves SB383 moving to permit firearms in schools!
PA children (and grizzly bears) were made less safe Wednesday (April 19, 2017),
after PA Senate Education Committee votes to approve SB838. If enacted, this bill would allow school boards to approve staff to carry firearms in schools and on school grounds. Despite Sen. Anthony H. Williams' (8th district) "voice in the wilderness," committee members overwhelmingly voted against common sense by voting for this measure. A number of Central PA citizen activists were present to quietly express their disapproval.
Thank you Sen.
Anthony H. Williams.
